You know how you always hear of little brothers and sisters irritating their older siblings? Now I know why!!!!!!!!! To get back at THEM for irritating them when they were babies. .

Oh and on the “update” front…3.5 weeks and all is going well with breastfeeding . He eats faster than Will – that or my supply is that much better. We go to bed around 10 and he is usually up twice a night – 1ish and somewhere between 4 and 6 – he is then “up for the day” between 7:30-9 a.m.

First off, I am so sorry I havnet posted pictures lately.

We ordered Mario Cart for the Wii (hence wiik, not week). Will played it over the weekend and totally loved it. Apparently so does everyone else. All the stores are sold out. We ordered it on amazon and it arrived today. He already can’t get enough.

Oh and We spent all afternoon at the mall
Things went well, but Will had a hard time listening to me when I needed to push the stroller (candle store, tight spaces, etc) or I wanted him to leave the stroller alone (I was looking at things) or NOT jiggling the stroller. I know that sounds like a lot but it really wasn’t too bad. I have a lot of patience .

Lucas did well. Didn’t get much tho .

I think the girls are coming this wiikend too.

Lucas has his first “cold”. He’s stuffy and I keep having to suction his nose. I messaged my pedi friends and told her what was going on and she said it sounds like a cold – keep doing wat I am doing and use saline drops. It’ll probably get WORSE before better but should only last 3-5 days.

Grandpa Glen was here for the weekend. My mom and Leon went home yesterday and he came into town a little later. We just took it easy last night and they boys picked up Chili’s. Today we went out for a bit and ate at Rudy’s BBQ. Will ran around in the field in back for a bit and when we came out G’Pa left and Will and Daddy went for a hike/swim. Lucas and i napped and snuggled. I have a few pics but need to upload them tomorrow or when i get the chance .

So far not too bad. We have about 2 feedings a night. Somewhere around 1 or 2 and again around 5 or 6. The 5 or 6 takes a bit more snuggling first, which we woke my mom for on two occasions. Let’s hope it sticks.

Oh and I am already feeling guilty. We have sooooooooo many more pictures of Will then we do of Lucas at this point. LOL! Granted we forgot the camera in all the drama of my unexpected labor, but still. Oh, well I am sure we will make up for it over time.  There are only so many sleepy pictures you can take anyways .

ooooh and Will said he wants to keep his baby Lucas FOREVER.

I started running a fever yesterday. It was 101 and 5:20 so I had to call the after hours number. The doctor on call called in an antibiotic. I went to bed “ok” and was “ok” during the HUGE storm we had last night.

Around 5 I woke up on fire and had a 103.8-104.0 fever, depending on the ear. I called again. He said I could just wait until the office opened. They ran a bunch of test and the CBC and urine analysis are fine so we are just waiting on more that won’t be back until Monday. Hopefully I am better by then anyways. He also did a pelvic exam and all seems fine there so I dunno.

We did a mini photo shoot with Jacob on Saturday. There are so many to go through but here is on UNDEDITED picture of all of us for now.

Lucas is now 6 lbs. and 4 oz.

I’d say he’s eating well and my milk is in, lol.

He went on his second outing today. We went to wal-mart to get some preemie clothes and he was in the sling the entire time. Someone asked me if he was a baby or a dog…they couldnt see him and he was so little they weren’t sure.

oh, yes and my step dad calls him “Peanut” – I think it may stick, lol

Things here are great. Still a little sore but that’s a c-section for you.The more i move and do things the better I feel.
I am having very little bleeding and that’s been light from day one.
My milk came in last night. So “peanut” should start gaining. My step dad calls him peanut because he’s sooo tiny.  I think he’s back to 6 lbs though, so he’s doing well. He has his first check up tomorrow so we will see.

I think we need a few more outfits. We don’t have much in preemie and i don’t want to get too much but i need a little more.

Today we went to TARGET and got some stuff. He still needs a few more preemie outfits, he’s soo tiny.

I was pumping earlier because he feel asleep before finishing the 2nd side and Will was operating the hand pump. It was hilarious.

Will said quite loudly that the woman had really pretty legs!!
