Will has been kind of been doing role play playing…with his cars…

He loves to give them different zoom sounds and his trains different whistle sounds.

Today was a lot of fun!

We went to the fire station with some friends and Will had a blast!!

He got to hold a big flash light, climb in the truck, spray the hose, sit in the driver’s seat and explore the firefighter’s living quarters.

They had to carry me upstairs because they don’t have an elevator. I’ll have to get that picture from a friend.

It was really fun. He said he likes fire trucks more than trains. — LOL.

David is sick so I didn’t get to take him, but they said come back anytime.

oooh and the Firemen LOVED Will’s Fire Truck boots. . They said they need to have the Chief get them some like it.

One of our local stations is running a “Dine with Strangers” contest and they were looking for someone that has survived death.

I made a trip to Shiner last weekend. It was a nice little getaway. Susan came down with the boys, too. Preston is such a cutie patootie. I can’t believe he is SEVEN months old. I hadn’t seen him since he was two WEEKS old. Time really flies. I can’t believe I went so long without seeing him, after all my family is my favorite hobby!!
Will had a blast with his “gurls” and “seesters”. He saw a picture of them when we got home and was calling him one of the two. I can’t remember which. LOL.

I do have pictures but I have to scan them. I didn’t take my digi cam because the battery was low and I had NO idea Susan would be there. Leon picked up a disposable camera for me at Dollar General. Man, those things don’t take anywhere NEAR the quality I am used to with my canon.

I’ll have pictures scanned soon….I hope!!!

Sunday was our Daytona 500 Party. That was a lot of fun. I have a few pictures from that, too. I haven’t uploaded them yet…..

Also, not sure if I ever wrote this but Will likes to roll a car on me while he is getting Ninny… I’ll have to have Charlie take a picture sometimes.

This was actually with my husband.

WOW!! What a different weekend for us. We were childless most of it. Will went to Patti’s house Friday night to drop Will off and we went on our date. We had 8:45 reservations and didn’t get out of there until 11:30. The Melting Pot was YUMMY but a VERY different experience. I am not sure we LOVED it enough to do it again. We each had two drinks, cheese fondue, meat fondue, and chocolate fondue (which we will do again, just not the entire meal).

Came home, lit the fire, feel asleep in front of the fire & woke up JUST BEFORE sunrise and went to bed so the sunlight from the skylight wouldnt wake us.

Woke up for the day around 9 and got ready to go get Will, Patti asked if she could keep him longer and said he said he wanted to stay…. so we let him.

It was hard and I missed him like crazy but he was having fun, so we got the oil changed in our cars, had lunch, and went to the grocery store; Came home, had dinner (soup and crackers/cheese) and went to see a very odd British film.

We slept until 10 am, got up, dressed and headed to Patti’s, picked up chicken and FINALLY saw MY BABY!!!!!!! Almost 41 hours without him and I was out of my mind with missing him.

We did have fun though. It was very relaxing.
