Before going to the mall I told him we were getting new shoes and he stuck his feet in the air and waved them around and squealed!     He obviously wanted to wear and try out the new shoes right away, and when I told him he would have to get in my lap when we got to the door he started walking REALLY slow. It took forever and my keys to get him in my lap though. He’s alreadt managed to scuff them AND splash in muddy water with them . BOYS!!

Oh and he’s getting really good at picking colors. I ask him to pick the blue out of blue and orange, or pink and red or green and red and he does!!

Yup, that’s right. AIRPLANES are really big birds, lol

Yesterday (june 25th) was Will’s FIRST movie theater movie!!! He did great. Charlie only missed a few minutes of it when Will got too excited at one point and starte squealing. All in all, CARS was a success.

My sweet little boy gives the best hugs. Before he flies into his crib for naps he always hugs my neck really tight and gives me the BEST hug ever!!! I jusy love his soft little arms wrapped arounf my neck. It’s the BEST feeling in the world.

Um, Will said “No” for the first time yesterday. It wasnt a real no, because he said it when i asked if he wanted to go outside and he obviously wanted to go… just thought it was funny!

I have the most absolutely wonderful news EVER!!

“Dawn & David’s baby girl was born at 10:00pm on the dot.  She’s 7lb 5oz, and 20 3/4″ long, and Dawn says she is absolutely beautiful.  She has lots of dark hair, precious little eyelashes that are lighter, a cute little cleft chin, bright eyes, and perfect little baby lips.  I can’t even describe how happy Dawn sounds – you can feel the beaming, even from a distance ”

Now why is this extra special news? Because they have been trying to have a baby for such long time and after failed fertility treatments and IVF they finally decided to adopt. Last Fall they “lost” a baby they had hoped to adopt because the Mom changed her mind. Last night we feared it would all happen again but ALAS it didnt!

Will’s favorite new “word” is now “uh-oh”. He says it all the time but mostly at appropriate times

If he drop something, I drop something or if he cant reach something.

He’s also great at putting stuff back for me .

He wanted to snack on goldfish earlier and wouldnt leave the pantry until I opened it for him. When I did he PROMPTLY grabbed the goldfish and handed them to me. After I put them in his bowl, I gave them back and asked him to put it back. He did!!

Okay, well it’s not really a recap but just a list of cute things Will is doing/did.

• he went and got his shoes when we told him we were leaving but he needed to put his shoes on first. (he LOVES his shoes… it means bye-bye or outside
• He gets a book when I ask him to get one we can read
• He lifted his shirt and patted his belly when I told what a good boy he was for filling his belly
• He was using a crayon as chapstick — either he sees me do it all the time or he wanted chapstick which I have put on him once

I can’t believe my baby is 1.5!!!

He went to the doctor yesterday and all is well. He is 21 lbs and 6 oz (a little on the low side, but doc isnt worried because he keeps gaining, just not a lot.)

His height is fairly average, at 32 inches!

My usually good eater seems to only want yogurt, tease (cheese, lol) corn, fruit and goldfish right now. He will take one or two bites of this and that but that is it!!!

I forgot to mention that he will also eat a little of the bread from his grilled cheese (what comes off when he scrapes the cheese) and pizza… but just the cheese and sauce and a little of the bread.

Will is wearing an outfit with a car on it and off and on all day he’d look down and pic at it and say “CAY! CAY! CAY!!”

I was right!!! I was right!!!

My friend Tess is due at the end of October and from the day she told me she was pregnant I have been calling the baby a “she”. Well she had her U/S today and i was right!!

Yesterday was my first update in a while… a few of the latest Willisms…

He loves to push me around.

He loves “cays”. (cars) Especially matchbox cars, but any car will do.

So on that note we plan to take him to see CARS when it comes out
