My baby is
growing up and learning so fast.  He slid off the bed this morning
after his diaper change and started shaking his head in the “NO”
direction.  All week we’ve been telling him NO!. He’s such an
explorer. Charlie and his friend Josh are building a custom “gate” to
keep him out of the kitchen.

He also hold his hands HIGH in the air now, sometimes just randomly and
it is so cute. He tries standing without pulling up/holding on as well,
but usually has to find something to hold onto…ooh and he he likes to
scrape his tooth on the metal part of my wheelchair. EEK!!!

My baby was gagging and throwing up on a leaf today .. we thought he put something in his mouth but we couldnt get it out/find it . .. then he went on and was fine.

A few minutes later he was gagging but still breathing just fine. .. after a few seconds he started throwing up so I stuck my fingers down his throat and dug out a leaf

He threw up a lot but was fine, all in all.

I am finally home. I am
still unable to do much. The sore is getting better, but it is not
completely healed yet. My mom is here right now, but after Sunday I am
on my own again and wont be able to do much…so I am begging friends
to come over!!

In other news Charlie is changing jobs and getting a pretty nice raise!!

I think my baby boy said MAMA today!!! He was babbling on fussing on the monitor and as I was getting up it sounded like he said “Mama!!”!!

I will be out of town for the next week or 2. My pressure sore is going down hill again and i am going to stay at my moms.

We tried
Gerber Mac-n-cheese 2day and Will didnt like it. Normally he hates me
to wipe his face, but when i tried wiping what he spat out, he stuck
out his tongue so i could wipe his tongue.

OOOOH!! And to all BB6/Kaysar fans, THANK YOU!!!!!

I doubt he meant to do it, but yesterday I was playing with Will and pointed to his nose, asked him what it was, then I told him it was his nose.

He then grabbed MY nose.

Cute!!

Will decided to welcome Discovery by finally getting a tooth.
He’s been working on it for quite some time and we could see it just under the surface but it is out now.
It’s just the tip, but a VERY sharp tip. I can’t believe he only has ONE tooth at 8 months old.

I swear my son
talks, LOL. We *think* he has been saying YEAH since the beginning of
July. Today, after he ate, we asked him if he was ready for his nap.
Charlie and I BOTH heard him say, “yeah”.

He didnt take his nap though.

So far we have
had a pretty good weekend. My pressure sore is healing nicely. I had to
take my mom home yesterday. My sister, Cindy was having a small party
for my nephew and his wife. They are moving to Paraguay a week from
Tuesday and it was a small Bon Voyage party.
