I am going to make this brief.

Went to mom’s wednesday afternoon and Thursday 2 of my sisters and I headed to my dads.

Our step-mom had the funeral home keep the body until we got there so we could say “goodbye”

I am so glad I got to see him one last time, even though he wasnt alive. This might sound wierd but he looked sooo much better You could just tell that there wasnt anymore pain in his face and he looked soo peaceful

I dont really remember much of friday.

Saturday we went and picked up his ashes and when the house was empty I went into his room for the first time and I decided to lie down on his side of the bed and hold his shirt and cry. (his jacket was there so his dog could smell daddy and sleep. )

Charlie got in and he printed pictures and two of my older nieces made a huge photo collage of my daddy from the time he married my mom to the present.

Sunday was the funeral and what turned out to be a horribly embarrasing day for all of us (especially my stepmom)

My brother caused this big scene that I dont want to get into right now.

In fact I think I am finished posting for now too

My dad died today.

Just because I think it’s funny:

Will was eating PEAS and sneezed … they got all over me

And I almost forgot but the other night Will woke up for his night feeding and he had a BIB stuck to his head

I had to take DH too work because he locked his keys in his server room on friday and we didnt have time to get his truck over the weekend; that and he didnt get his keys back until yesterday.

After that I came home and got dressed (yes I went in my PJs )

Then Will and I met another mom and little boy at the mall. Before she showed up I picked up a GRANDE Caramel Ice Storm at Nordies e-bar.

The mom’s name was Tess and her little boy was MAX!! He was such a cutie and Ithink that name is just too sweet.

Saturday we headed to Dallas as planned .. I was craving a sourdough jack like nobody’s business so thats where we ate.

GOD I HATE public bathrooms .. they are sooo gross .. thank god for handgel though.

when traveling no matter WHERE we park in a parking lot so I can feed the DUDE (Will) SOMEONE parks next too us . .I dont get it .. we can be behind a convienance store, next to the trash dumpster and SOMEONE parks in front of us ot next to us

Anyways we got to dallas and visited .. things were good..

Will got in the pool and we took some pics and some video and Dude even went under for the first time He didnt hate it either.

Sunday:

Got up earlyish and said our goodbyes .. loaded the car and headed to the mall . . .

Meet up with Joy (mommy2be) and her FH Oscar!!

WE had a lot of fun and Will really liked Joy and ESPECIALLY Oscar .. .it was sooo funny!!

Will had been fussing and Oscar got there a few minutes after everyone else .. well when Will saw him he stopped fussiny I guess he just wanted a new face to look at

Well Bobby duty calls ..

At Will’s 6 month check-up he was:

17 lbs and 6 oz, measured 27 1/2″ and had a 42cm head circumference.

Saturday:

Maid came and we went to have a key made so the neighbor could lock up. Headed out of town and half way ther stopped to change WILL!!!

NOTE: I somehow, for the FIRST TIME EVER, managed to leave WITHOUT!!! Spare clothes for him (besides Jammies to put him in on the way home Sat. night)

So we have to stop at the outlet stores and run into GAP to buy him a change of clothes (couldnt find a TARGET and I hate Wal-Mart clothes, )

Anyways I got hte CUTEST outfit.

Had fun at the race and our seat neighbors were glad to meet Will (got pics) and the drive home was soooo loooooooooooooooong!

SUnday:

Slept in (thank you Sweet BABY BOY!!) and took our showers .. .tooooo tired to do it at 3 am when we got in

Then we went for B-fast tacos

tried to get my little dude to take a nap — no dice

so we went to see Josh’s new Apartment .. .very good choice… perfect bachlor pad for him

Then we went to the pool and the hot tub was really cool (body temp) so we put Will in and he FEEL ASLEEP

I didnt have to cook because Josh did

OMG!!

My little man CRAWLED in a SEMI-CIRCLE!!!

He always ends up sideways in his crib and I happened to be in the when he did it and he was on his HANDS AND KNEES going in a semi-circle!!!!

I called my dad and he got a kick out of this.

DH brought Will’s carseat home yesterday!! WE got it in the car and getting him in and out of it will be EASIER than with the infant carrier once I get the hang of it . . I may also end up with a PERMANANT bruise on my left arm but, hey. Who cares.

(the bruise because I have to use the car to support myself since I dont have a lot of trunk support when I am supporting something or rather SOMEONE else. (does that make sense) If I am in my chair alone or just holding Will I am okay.. .but if I need to move him from my lap to his carseat I cant BALANCE!! There that’s the word.

There have been sooo many babies born recently!!

My step sister had a baby on the first and named her Avery . .another friend had a baby a few days ago and named her Hollen and my nieces’s childhood friend had a little boy on the 2nd or 3rd .. I cant remember his name tho!!!

BABIES BABIES EVERYWHERE!!!! What happened to my LITTLE BITTY TINY BABY!!!?????????????

going to my dad’s — kidneys are shutting down and he doesnt have much longer .. . my Step mom said we need to go see him

I was going back and forth on whether to go see him or not and my step mom said she thinks he would enjoy it and that she felt we really NEEDED to as well….

I cant lose my daddy . . .I know he’ll be free of all the pain he’s been on all these years (heart problems, diabetes and now he’s on oxygen 24/7)

Please remind me that wanting him to live is selfish; he’s ready to go and so tired of the fight and the pain and the weakness and everything else.

MY GODDNESS WE HAD A STORM LAST NIGHT!!!

Anyone else in Texas will know what I am talking about … AT one point it sounded like something HIT our house. . the whole thing just shook and rattled and vibrated .. it was scary. Well, a HUGE branch fell on the house just over our bedroom Good thing we are renting right now.

Oddly enough my baby slept through it but when he did wake up to eat I didnt want him to go back in his room by himself so I kept him in bed with us.
