Well I had a pretty good trip. There were no problems with any of the flights and all of our luggage made it where it was supposed to!!!

Will was a Trooper on all flights- he fussed VERY little.

We got up early on Wednesday and headed to the airport with FIL. We got to ND late in the evening and went out to eat with the family!!

It was nice to meet Charlie’s cousin and his wife and daughter (they live in FLorida and flew up too!)

I wont bore you with a day to day play by play.

Great Grandma (DH’s grandma on FIL side) is a bit senile/alzhmeimers, I guess and didnt know we were the same people day after day but she loved the babies — she kept calling Will a girl and the girl a boy though Poor thing

Will is almost sitting up 100% by himself now and just about has the sippy cup thing down as well!!

The visit with my dad was short and sweet… I wish it could have been longer but just the little time we were there wore him out. He is on oxygen 24/7 now

We took Will to the pool for the first time today, but the water was too cold for him.

I found out that my dad is NOT doing well at all.

My step-mom tried calling me earlier in the week. They have no idea how much longer he really has right now. They have called in hospice. That usually means they are just trying to keep the patient comfortable and pain free, if possible. (my step mom thinks he has less than 6 months.

For those of you that dont know or dont remember, my dad has alyways been really sick (heart trouble, diabetes, seizures due to wrong treatment for a head injury in the 60s) so its no real surprise that this was coming, I just never wanted it top happen obviously.

We are going to go see him when we get back next Sunday. We wont stay long, just for the day (Monday, since we will go to sleep when we get there Sunday, LOOOONG drive)

Anyways I am so scared. I really dont want to lose my dad, although it is inevitable at this point. He is, in his 70s, afterall. I was told that he spent all day today on morphine he was in so much pain. I dont want him in pain. I told my step mom to tell him that we would be there in the next few weeks so he could get “medicine” from his Boo-Boo (Will)…..(will is one of over 20 grandkids and he cant get enough of them )

My son goes backwards . ..

I went in to quiet him down a few minutes ago and he was at the bottom of the crib .. I asked DH where he put him and he said on the pad ( burp pad tied to the sides — keeps sheet clean. Anyways he was a good distance from where DH put him .. many times he’s scooted FORWARD but not backwards
