I am so blessed to have a wonderful aunt and I hope MD Anderson in Houston can figure out what is wrong with her (she lost 30 lbs in a month )

and…

what is up with clothing manufacturers???? How is it possible that I can wear a JUNIURS size medium and it be big now (which is usually a 7 or 9, right????)

I bought some fleece sweat pants for post partum and they are BIG on me now … I have to take them back and get a size small or I will be swimming in them in December after I have the baby especially if I fall into the 5 month pregnant size frame that most people say they are after birth.

Its been a CRAZY DAY!! And I do mean crazy. The morning started off just fine!

I made it to the pedi and what do ya know! The office is old and inaccessible. .. well for the most part… the ramps were make shift and horrible and getting in alone was inpossible. It really sucks because I REALLY liked this lady. She’s 24 weeks pregnant with baby girl #2 and said all the right things….We’ll have to see if I am willing to deal with a MAJOR pain of getting in (will need a nurse to come out and help with baby due to conditions….)

Anways thats the START of my day

I got in my car and it wouldnt start!!!!!! So I called DH and he came and realyzed he didnt have jumper cables in his vehicle so we ran to the house and picked them up….he had to put the car in nuetral and back it out…the battery was SOOOO dead it didnt even pretend to wanna start….oooh and I am STARVING WELL BEFORE I even finished the interview so imagine how hungry the preggo lady is now…

In the meantime I called my mom and found out I have an AUNT that is REALLY REALLY REALLY sick and an Uncle who’s wife told him Saturday she wanted a divorce …

After we went for lunch my car wouldnt start again, so he gave me another jump and now she sits in the garage until DH gets home….My battery is completely toast though so I am stuck at home which is probably a good thing since I’ve been feeling bad and my mom thinks I should tell the doctor about Friday and Saturday no matter what, but I dont want to deal with it unless it happens again. Baby has been very active so I know he’s ok.

I think that is about it.

After being sick the last few days, I think it finally passed.

Today I felt fine and food hasnt effected me this afternoon…

So needless to say I have NO IDEA what was making me feel bad the last few days … it happened again this morning though … if happens much more this week I’ll talk to the doc next monday at my appoinment.

We … well DH accomplished a lot this weekend

he got the closet organizer in and we found a bookshelf at target for 50% off!!! The colors arent perfect but they are basically the same color family .. . (dark wood)

Next weekend FIL is coming down to help paint and I have picked the color from a kilz paint sample. .. we just need to match it to a sherman williams color since we can get that for a really cheap price per gallon.

FIL said he’d trade pc help for paint hlep…. and then almost regreted it when he found out I wanted stripes — lol

MIL still hasnt emptied the dresser she is giving to us … so I guess we’ll get it soon.

oooh….I interview 2 pedis this week….the one I was supposed to interview friday is on tuesday and there is another tomorrow morning ..

Feeling yuck but I guess I can give you a quick update .. .last night was sorority girl night and we had a good time! It was hosted at a hosue in the middle of nowhere though – Luckily I carpooled with a girl that I introduced to sorority (her DH works with my DH).

I have two pedi interviews .. One tomorrow @ 4:20 that came HIGHLY recommended and another Monday @ 10:15 that is REALLY super close to my house in a nice little community.

The only thing about Doctor #1 is he is COMPLETLY against taking the baby ANYWHERE until he is 6 weeks old and my mom who had 9 children, myself, and DH do not agree with that. So he will just have to get over my decision.

The only thing about Doctor #2 is that their waiting area combines well and sick visits in the same waiting area.

Hello ladies!! My appoinment was good . .. I filled out my preregistration papers and the date is set .. His birthday will be December 8, 2004 (unless he comes early, of course)

We have to be there at 5:30 and they will do the c-section around 7:30!

He measured me and said things look “normal” and that his head is down.

When he went to listen to the heart beat I nailed the location PERFECTLY . . . I told my doc that I bet he’ll hear the heart beat “here” (pointing to a spot) so he put the little doppler on that spot and BAM!!!! He didnt even have to move it around at all!

He had the hiccups this morning around 7 (I think the first time in 7 months )

My weeked was really great!! Everyone we havent seen in a while (June) kept telling me how small I was and no one could believe I only had about 8 weeks to go . . . . After the race on Saturday we checked into our hotel and wer WERE going to go out for dinner but just ordered pizza instead. . .FORTUNATLY there was a starbucks right next to the hotel too you know what I had for breakfast

We had a lot of fun and now that I think about it that is the last thing we REALLY have planned before he gets here

This weekend we are going to buy the paint and I am going to make DH start painting I also wish my MIL would give us the dresser sooner than later. She keeps putting it off and telling us not to come get it yet .. oh well!

We decided to renew our season tickets anyways and will do the races with baby anyways – They make lots of ear protection for babies and I will talk to his pedi before going of course but at least we dont lose our seats and dh at least gets to go.

this older couple we sit next too said he’d probably love the races since he’s spent so much time around them in utero. .. he’s been listening to the cars since he was conceived. .. I was 1-2 weeks pg when we went to the first race of the season . . .he slept almost the entire two races . .squirmed a bit but he didnt seem to mind the noise and vibrations

I’m going to move on to a lighter note now and tell you all about my shower!!

There isnt much on my registry (temperal scan thermometer which we are going to wait to get, no use spending that much $$$ on something I may not have to use that often) My stroller, shopping cart seat cover and sleep positioner are All thats left (and baskets and a bookshelf that wasnt on the registry)

But the guest wiped that thing clean Some of the stuff wasnt the exact model or style I picked but I love everything I got!

Before I get into the wonderful day that I had yesterday I’d like to take a minute to remember someone that passed away yesterday.

DH told me just before he left for work that Christopher Reeves passed away yesterday…most people will just feel bad for his family and think of what a horrible thing it is.

It could directly effect me and every other person that suffers from paralysis so his death is a little more emotional. He had to be the BEST spokesman there could EVER be for us and now that he’s gone it make you wonder what will happen with stem cell research on the paralysis end. Sure people will fight to keep it going for other diseases .. . but what what this one — it’s not a “disease” but it is a problem.

More about HOW he died. He was in the hospital for cardiac arrest that was a direct result of an infection he received from a pressure sore. That in itself is soooo scary. I was in and out of the hospital for FIVE months before DH and I married because of a pressure sore. . . the doctors told us how dangerous it was but we didnt think it could KILL anyone

Well…..today I had a woman that was 34 weeks say she didnt believe I was preg. or at least not 30 weeks As usual when talking about clothes somene wanted to know how old my baby WAS and when I said not born yet the other questions started and she couldnt believe I only had 10 weeks to go and said I didndt look pg Sad but at the same time it was funny.

Oh well!! it really didnt discourge me, it just gets frusterating when no one knows I am PG . . .altho I’ll be the one to get the last laugh when I get back into my 4s before she’s back in her Pre-Preg clothes

of course i dont know her from adam so I guess I wont really be that funny

Spent the weekend with Mom and LEon. Mom got lots of cute outfits when we went to the mall!!

I dont have a pic of it but my stepdad bought this little outfit that says PRINCE OF WAILS (crying = wailing AND there is a Prince William of Wails–Dianna’s son )

I am definitly ready. The room just needs to be painted and I need the dresser and closet organizer (its not MANDATORY, just NICE ). For now EVERYTHING hangs in the closet .. We also need a crib mattress and to wash clothes but none of that really takes time.

oooooooooh and I still need to buy Will’s coming home outfit.
