HE arrived in this world at 6:57, was 18 1/2 inches and He was 6 lbs. 1 oz.

He’s laying next to me about just falling asleep. Again.

He’s slept a lot today and they insisted on giving him a little formula because his blood sugar was low.

IT was a pretty rough night last night. Two hours after we went to sleep I went into labor. I was “okay” for about an hour but then it hurt SO BAD. DH took Will next door and SLOWLY helped me up after calling the doctor and discovering I was bleeding and my water had broken.

Apparently my uterus ruptured and i had placenta previa. Which means I probably won’t be having any more babies of my own. It seperated from my the area where my first scar was. But that explains the SEVERE pain I was in.

I haven’t talked to MY OB about it but his partner who started my section told DH that. We’ll see. It’s probably not worth it though, especially since we are very open to adoption if we go with #3.

Will loves to give him kisses and I finally saw his eyes – maybe two hours ago. . . sleepy head. Now watch him be up all night.

Oh and my heart rate was high and test were abnormal so they had to do a CAT scan and Ultrasound –thinking maybe I have blood clots. No word yet so I guess everything is ok.

It all sounds bad but it really wasn’t – overall.

Oh, I was dialated to an EIGHT when I got here. HOLY SMOKES.

I think is about it. I covered a lot, but not everything, I’m sure. I’m just EXHAUSTED.

I gained way too much weight this last appointment and I am miserable. My doctor TRIED to move my c-section to the 13th but there were NO openings so we are doing it on the 16th at 4pm. 4 days is 4 days!!

Oh, I asked the doctor and he said he thinks he’s about 7 lbs.

I’m sitting here scrapping/surfing and all of a sudden I am STARVING.

So I IM Charlie — no answer and then I call him. He’s 2 streets away. I make him turn around and get me a burger and fries from whataburger.
It was sooooooooooo yummy.

The other night we were watching Desperate Housewives and someone was eating cookies. Yeah. You know where this is going.

So. Yup. Definitly pregnant and ready to have this baby. 26 days to go!!

Sooooo, not sleeping well at night.

okay . . . so I spent 5 hours in L&D the other night.

I started having bad burning/cramping the night before last and I cramped and contracted all day. They were often about 15 minutes apart.

I called my doc office and they said better safe than sorry. Thankfully Mom and Karen were here.

WHen I got there they pretty much stopped but I was slightly dehydrated (found keytones in my urine) and then they checked my cervix and I am VERY thick but dialated 1.5 – which makes me know I am not CRAZY … something is happening. They also ran a test to see if I am at risk for early delivery and I am NOT — so that’s good.

I am going to talk to my doctor and see if we can deliver at 38 instead of 39. The last few days have been awful and miserable. My mom just so happened to be in town visiting so she stayed so I don’t have to do anything…they didn’t put me on bedrest — in fact said continue normal activities. Kinda crazy. My doctor wasnt on call so I haven’t talked to him yet, but I do see him next Wednesday.

I was having contractions I didn’t know I was having and the ones I had been feeling all day stopped….like DH said — it’s like taking a car to the mechanic … the problem stops.

We scheduled my c-section for May 20th. I am waiting on confirmation though. The office wasn’t able to talk to the hospital so we don’t know the time yet. I’m a little surprised we are only going one week early since I am measuring TEN days ahead.

Anyways – here is an unofficial belly picure.

I’m a little bigger than I was with William but only up 20 lbs. I think I look pretty good, if I do say so myself .

Last night I was having quite a few period like cramps and there was some blood when I was getting ready for bed. There wasnt much but it was red. I had a hard time going to sleep but thankfully I had my check-up today.

We got another U/S….and a good picture of his face. He’s DEFINITLY still a boy.

The doc also did a pelvic and said there was maybe a little brown discharge but that was it and my cervix was closed up!! SO that is good. Who knows what it was last night but I am still cramping..

So someone in my Pregnancy group asked how things are going and since this is sorta like a public journal I figured it wouldn’t hurt to write it down here too.

I feel HUGE- WAAAAAY bigger than I was with William. I have a pair of pants that did NOT fit the last two weeks of my pregnancy with William that DO STILL fit – so that is good.  The heartburn is about the same….I am sleeping better — I guess I have more to be tired about. …

I can tell I am entering the thired trimester though (can you BELIEVE THAT???). I had a little break from exhaustion but it’s back. The pregnant tired is WAY worse than the newborn tired IN MY OPINION.

I also feel tired and breathless….The heat today about did me in. It was 80 degrees – in FEb.

I took my gestational Diabetes test on Wednesday and have not heard from the doctor. That’s supposed to be a GOOD thing, YAY!

okay – so this is the third month my doctor has scratched his head and said I am measuring big.

The first time he ended up doing my ultrasound and this time he was trying to go back and see how big Will was (6.14 – so small).

Then he didn’t say anything else.

I forgot to ask WHAT I am measuring so I need to do that next time.

ooh and I haven’t really gained a lot of weight. I’m up 20-25 but I started out at 104-108, so pretty thin and this is about the same amount of weight as last time.

I’ve hit the hungry all the time phase. I can eat at noon and I am starving by 2. . . I also can’t really eat a full meal at once anymore. The baby boy is MOVING ON UP!!! — LOL.

Will is being silly these days too. He has a “girl” friend named Cana and actually smiled for the camera yesterday when I asked him to do it for her….and today he wouldn’t let me kiss him — until AGAIN I said it was from her. !!!

I had my 18 week appointment at the OB/GYN today…..and he said I was measuring a bit bigger than 18 weeks….so he wanted to do an u/s.

After all the measurements were done we determined I am only about 5 days ahead of schedule so nothing will change.

HOWEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We did get a GREAT peek at WHO IS GROWING IN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had my 14 weeks check-up today and all is well!!

Will brought a piece of Charlie (previously) Glen’s old Lionel train set with us. My OB got really excited about it because he used to have one like it.

We all kinda joked about how much lead it probably has in it….and he told Will not to go around licking it…..Will looked really concerned……and said “I can’t lick it?!! Only play with it??”
