Today has been craaaaaazy tiring. We woke early and headed to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon’s office. Charlie is doing better than he thought. In fact he’s up moving around a little as a type this. This is still the beginning of about a 6-9 month process.
In case you don’t know, Charlie lost a tooth when he was about 10. They put it back in and he wasn’t supposed to be able to keep it passed 18 or so. Well, he did. It wasn’t until 6 weeks or so ago that he had the dentist pull it and give him a temporary tooth. As part of the process we had to do a bone graft before we could install the implant. That’s about it.

My son (Lucas) loves shoes.; socks, too! He must wear them at all times. Really. No joke. When I dress him in the morning he will find them and grunt at me until I put them on his feet. (very cute feet, I must add!)
He leans towards liking the brown pair best. Not sure why. They otherwise look exactly like the blue pair.
Sometimes he even wants me to put them on OVER his footed PJs. It doesn’t work well.
On the bright side he will allow me to remove them for naps/bedtime. Hurray for that! It’s really cute because he will wiggles his toes when I take them off….oh and I must take off the socks AND shoes. Not just the shoes. Silly boy.
I think we will be in the market for new ones soon. These are getting small. I’m afraid.

On the Will front; he is OBSESSED with Monster Jam — monster jam this, monster jam that — it’s taking over. He has trucks, a video game (wii and DS) and he watches the shows on TV. I must say that those trucks are pretty AMAZING! Have you ever seen them?? We are going to a show in the new year.

I went to see NEW MOON last night. VERY nice. Charlie bought a boat. A REAL one. Sleeps 7. Details on that once I have real pictures for you!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOooh and some really famous TV reality series contacted me today …… I’ll post about that later.
Lucas had a follow-up and all is well. We’ve been mixing his nasty-nasty juice with ICE COLD juice what do you know ….. HE DRINKS IT ALL UP!!!!
I went back to my dermatologist today too. I made an appointment with a family physician in the Peds office and she really didnt know … and worked her magic to get me in to the derm TODAY. Origianlly it was going to be the partner but 10 minutes later called and said my doc had an opening in an hour and a half. I jumped on it. He’s stumped. That’s all there is to it. I was on prednisone for 3ish weeks and it has NOT improved. He thought it was an allergy..now we think it might be something else but he ran a quick test for that and didnt find evidence it could be that. Anyways it is potentially contagious for people in the same house so we are all being treated for it now. Blech.
I hope it helps. That was my day. Docotors and pharmacies.
Ok . … Off to read a few blogs and maybe finish my book…..and when Charlie gets home we treat Will and get him to bed. I’m letting him stay up tonight

This weeks menu has been posted and I added another new page (foodroll) that will include recipes I find on varies blogs….
Yesterday started our pretty average, but around 2:45 that all changed. We were heading out for an appointment and the garage door would NOT open. Now, if you know me, you know this is BAD. It’s my only way out of the house (unless you count the back yard). I tried the garage door button AGAIN and still nada. Somehow, a string had been pulled and it thought it was already open — I don’t really know, something like that. Anyways, I called my darling husband because I was starting to panic. Who wants to be trapped in a house with kids and no way to get out (WE MUST MAKE RAMP ON FRONT DOOR PRIORITY!)??
Anyways, he called the neighbor (I need to get that number….) and he came and manually opened the door for me. We got in the van and headed to our appointment. This “delay” almost made me late but Charlie met us there to help me out so I could get in faster and then he headed home to fix whatever hte heck was wrong.
The rest of the day went mostly smooth.
Will is without video games right now and he keeps complaining about THAT….but he really needed the break from it.
Charlie had to work late so the boys and I had make shift dinner. I had La Madeline Tomato Basil. Oh. My. Goodness. This is my favorite soup ever. I am beyond thrilled that it comes in a jar from my local grocery store. The best part is that it tastes EXACTLY the same. The bad part is that I can eat the ENTIRE jar and it has about 64 grams of fat and 680 calories. But it is ssoooo worth it so who cares.

Lucas has chicken nuggets and spoonful after spoonful of avocado. Crazy kid. Will…well he had nuggets and yogurt. No avocado for him, lol.
I got BOTH boys to bed by 7:40. GO ME.
Just when Charlie was on his way home he discovered the clutch was broken in his loaner. It was after 10 so there was no way I could go out after him so he called josh. Two hours later and a little more drama and he was finally home.
I did get some reading in

WEll…Charlie did it. We did it, actually. My husband has dreamed of owning a BMW M3 for many year and now we have a red one. Convertible, too.
I am beyond happy for him. He TRULY deserves it. He works VERY Hard for our family so I can stay home with the boys and I can’t express how grateful I am for this. Hopefully supporting this purchase somewhat shows that appreciation.

My mom, Leon and Brittany came in to town on Friday. Charlie and I went on a date (Indiana Jones) and in the middle of the night I woke up vomiting. I vomited into Saturday afternoon and Saturday night Will starting vomiting. Mom and Britt decided to stay. Yuck.

We had a nice-calm weekend. Saturday we were pretty lazy and went to the store. We needed the oil changed, lunch and groceries- so we went to wal-mart. After we got home, we took a dress back to the mall. I loved it but it was too big (which remind me to see if it’s on line when I finish here). Then we went to Toys r Us for more puzzles. Will is obsessed with them and just races through 25-60 piece ones. We got a couple of 100 piece boxes.
He already put one together with little help.
Sunday we took it even easier. We got a water slide while we were at Toys r us and when Charlie got ready to set it up, the hose was messed up so he took will to buy a new one while Lucas and I napped – - that boy kept fighting his sleep, but thankfully went down.
When they got back we spent the rest of the afternoon on the slipnslide (well Will and charlie did). Gage was out there too. And Elissa and Powell. Jake had a softball game so he didnt get to play.
Later in the evening we went to Chili’s for dinner. YUm.
